my vertigo set in just watching the video! i don't think i will be visiting the top of that monster.

the city looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. i love how every building has its own personality. i wonder how overwhelming it is to be there? i'm not a fan of desert heat...

i do know some people who are going to dubai in a few months. i'm interested to hear what they have to say about it.

It's really cool and really ugly at the same time. Sticks out like a 700 meter sore thumb with the surroundings.

To toss so much cash at at such an unstable region of the world is baffling. UAE seems to have their shit straight, but they've got some "interesting" factions surrounding them.

Engineer/architect is not my trade. It's interesting (and impossible to me) to see how they can make something so tall without it just caving in on itself.
