i reserve the word *hate* for very few things. but, the yankees, yes: i hate them.

just the whole "torre's gonna quit--oh wait he's not, blah blah blah" thing during the playoffs. they're out of the playoffs. get 'em off the television screen.

100% Agree with all this. There is quality baseball being played. Who cares about the Yanks at this point

yeah...well...its the ugly east coast bias for all things sports rearing its ugly head yet again. just cuz the yankees command such a large market in the media, they still receive the annoying attention. i say shut it until December so as I can enjoy my Cards...

as much as i hate the yankees joe torre is a good coach no one can deny it. hes not gonna quit when all he has done for the team is helped them win. if he quits he will go to some good team thats on the rise. lets not forget hes number 5 or 6 on the all time managers win list.
