I watched two of the four episodes this week. It's definitely got promise... beats the hell out of David Spade's show that seems to have disappeared

I have a little crush on Colbert.

Yeah, Strangers With Candy was one of the funniest shows ever. Have you read Wigfield? Colbert, Amy Sedaris, and Paul Dinello wrote it and it's very, very funny.

oldman and i saw dinello, colbert and sedaris perform wigfield in chicago when it came out. they did all the characters with photos of each dressed as the character in the background. it was hilarious (and of course awesome to see them in person), but i have a feeling reading it (which i didn't do) may have been funnier somehow.

even though it already premiered at sundance, as of august the SWC movie was pulled from release ?? do not know most current status though.

don't know yet which i like better: colbert factor or the office (as far as DS breakouts go...).

Goody (missus oldman) is right about Wigfield. That was freakin' hilarious. They appeared to have a technical glitch towards the end, but overall it was funny.

Hopefully, they will just scrap the SWC movie and just release it on DVD. LIke the Family Guy movie (which is on my Netflix queue....boooyaa!!)

Colbert was awesome Tuesday night. He basically debated himself about the value of giving to charity. He would say something and then they would invert the camera so it was the reverse version of himself and then he would say something back, to himself, and the invert back again, and again. For good measure, on the invert shot they changed the color of his tie. Nice touch. Very clever and it was hilarious to boot.





UPDATE to earlier post: Family Guy movie. Ehhhh... unnecessary, IMO.
