So it seems as if the cardinals are falling on some tough times lately. With the cubs dropping games left and right, the Cards should be making a run, right? Wrong, the bullpen is killing their team. The starters are doing a wonderful job but the middle relief all the way to franklin have had some struggles lately. Hopefully, Mulder will bring some middle relief help with his return to the bullpen. Nothing is more frustrating than watching a pitcher(Parisi) walk in the winning run in extra innings. Especially when everyone in that ballpark knew the batter wasn't gonna lift the bat off his shoulder with a 3-2 count. The cards need to post an add in the paper: Wanted: relief pitcher who can throw strikes.

On the bright side, we finally beat the royals and Pujols is back on track. We're still doing better than anyone expected this year. However, I was hoping we could get back within 2 games of the central lead.

He came into the 9th last night for one inning of relief. He pitched very well...gave up 2 bloop singles, but the velocity was good and most importantly he was keeping the ball down. Looked like a pretty positive starting point.

The Mets are totally the same as the Cardinals were last year. Old, over priced, and have nothing to prove. Give me a team with a chip on their shoulder every time.

We are in major trouble unless we can figure out some way to close out games. I bet we send Wainwright back to the closer position.

Cards games have become so depressing to watch. We build up a lead and you just know that our bullpen will blow it.
