we're gonna project the game on a 6X10 foot screen in the beer garden at the bar, if people are looking for a place to watch the game. should be a lot of fun.

i wish you the best of luck cubs fans. however, i can't be too serious about that as i am a cards fan. oh well. if someone should win it, let it be someone from the best division in baseball (i do get a break on that statement as it could be cubs or brewers....don't bash me fellow cards fans!)

haha, yeah. Chicago baseball is hilarious. The Sox are on the cusp of losing right now, but the way that the Cubs have completely broken down in the playoffs over the last 2 years is simply jawdropping.

I'm always sorta glad when baseball is over. It's soooooo loooooong.

Eh, you know, it's better to overachieve with low expectations than to choke away a 100 win season.. :p

I'm with you FA. I have seen every Rays game in the playoffs so far and am slowly falling in love with them. I watched the end of the Angels/bosox game last night only to see the suicide squeeze totally screw the angels. I really like the Angels too, so I was sorry to see them go down. I hate the Yankees and BoSox so much, so to see a team from the AL East, who is not the Yankees or Sox, win it all would be great!

In the NL, I was actually rooting for both the Cubs and the Brewers. It just seems like the Cubs are wound way too tight. Anytime something bad happens to them, or they get behind in the game, you can just sense this panic over take them. I think they feed off of all of the negative energy of the fans. As soon as they lost the first game at home, I really felt like they were in major trouble. I am not really sure what they can do to correct that. From what I saw, they were easily the best team in the NL, but once the playoffs came they went down the crapper. They need to get more crazy idiots like the BoSox had when they finally won it all; guys who don't care about the media or the crowd or history or the stupid billy goat. It seems like they don't ever have any fun when they are playing in the playoffs. I think with most sports, if you are not having fun, or if you are more scared than excited, chances are you are not going to be very successful.

Go Rays!!!!!

I'd like to see a Rays/Dodgers WS. I don't have anything against either of them. Plus, when the playoffs started I told everyone I work with to beware the LAD....

I'll second that, cause the wife was wound up way too tight rooting for the sox, it got to the point I was secretly rooting for them , to keep her at peace.

i was getting a bit nervous myself there at the end. but for the rays. i couldn't be happier the red sox lost. i'm fine with a victory from either remaining team.

btw, that was the first time i've seen price throw. he looks like he can be overpowering.

Definitly glad the Red Sox lost. Guess, I'll root for the Rays in the Series.

This might be the first time in history that all the B2P sports fans have agreed on something!

i'm rooting for the rays so i can tell my insane cubs fan fiance that at the least the white sox lost to the champs, and the cubs lost to the chumps.

um, no I'm not. I would, of course, be jesting with her. Both teams lost in the end anyways.
