There seemed to be a lot of Sedaris talk on another thread so I thought I'd start one for her.

I love Amy! She recently had an interview in NYC Metro about her craft group and some great spooky pictures of her in costumes!

We were pissed about the BeWitched movie tho (on many levels but this one is specific)... that Amy was only in the very last scene! What a disappointment.

She's hillarous! She's David Sedaris' sister. I guess you could say she's a character actress, but all her characters are creepy and funny and maybe a little retarded...

I'm not sure I know what she looks like... I do like her brother's books though. :)

I believe she is one of Letterman's favorite guests... here she is with an oversize dress

Oh Jerri Blank - how we love you and your bacon strip.

What the hey oldman? Did you ge that from my BUST? She was recently on the cover with a great article. Did you know she makes cheese balls and sells them at a gourmet grocery in NYC? Only over the holidays though for all you cheese ball lovin' new yorkers. Also, for you ladies: i learned if you stick half-cut lemons in your bra you can create a very perky-looking rack!

I love how David mentions her (and all the other siblings) in a lot of his books - I believe Naked and Me Talk Pretty especially, so it's fun to get the whole family sort of view. We are now reading Dress your family.... it's already great and I have only read 3 pages!

She did several cameos in sex & the city which were good. She and letterman have an absolutely great rapport - i love to watch them.

She brought a squirrel-shaped wooden hash pipe on Conan O'Brien. She claimed to have carved it herself, and seeing as how she's totally crazy, I would believe it.

okay, books on tape are lame....

but after reading all of davy's books i was needing more... and more.. and MORE!
so, I found some of his books on tape read by him and some have amy on them too. It's so funny hearing him read his works with his own inflections...
check 'em out!

Professor Booty gave me a collection of David Sedaris books on tape. They were great. It had Me Talk Pretty One Day, Barrel Fever, Naked and Holidays on Ice.

I'm reading right now Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim. I gave the book to matty about 6 months ago and bought myself a copy, and still haven't read it.

I got it autographed by David Sedaris himself!

I need to read more of his stuff. I know that he is on NPR, but I am not as familiar with that part of his work.

Yeah, I recently got that book ('Dress Your Family') at an airport to read on the plane. I read damn near the whole book in two hours... couldn't put it down. His strip poker story is hilarious.
