Millions Year in Reading 2008

I ran across this website for 2008 year in reading. You have to click on most recent submissions to read about the books.

I'm putting it up as it could be of interest, but...I have to admit I haven't read anything listed and I'm not sure how I feel about authors gushing about books.

It seems like a pretentious sort of thing. Or maybe it's just me.

i ain't read none of the 2008 books none of em talk about though. i have one (senselessness), and i'll probably crack it pretty soon, but i generally read only a few new-release books each year, and even some of those are SF or fantasy, which none of the millions wankers are gonna talk about.

i do think it's funny they've got all these stodgy editors and writers and then just randomly a dude from the walkmen.
