View Full Version : Wesley Crusher Saves the Universe!

As any good treker knows, our universe would have been destroyed a dozen times over if it weren't for the antics of one pucky and somewhat annoying little scamp in a unitard: Wesley Crusher.
So, what's your fav?
I'm partial to the one's where Picard ends up hunting young Wes through the ship like an animal. "The Game" is a good one where Riker nearly causes the ship to be handed over to some nasty ass chick he met on Risa because of a hypnotic game that straps around the back of your head. Also, when the Enterprise comes across another Fed. ship that has had some sort of bachanalian disaster and Wes ends up taking over engineering with his hand held tractor beam or something...

Hello, my friends. You are here now watching this image of me
because I have died. It probably happened while I was on duty, and
quickly, which is what I expected. Never forget I died doing exactly
what I chose to do. What I want you to know is how much I loved my
life and those of you who shared it with me. You are my family. You
all know where I came from and what my life was like before. But
Starfleet took that frightened, angry young girl and tempered her. I
have been blest with your friendship and your love.
Will Riker, you are the best! You trusted me; you encouraged me; and
most of all you made me laugh.
Deanna, you are capable of so much love. You taught me without ever
having to say a word. I realized I could be feminine without losing
anything.
Ah, Worf. We are so much alike, you and I. Both warriors, orphans
who found ourselves this family. I hope I met death with my eyes wide
open.
Beverly, your fierce devotion comes from within and can't be
diminished. From you, I have learned to strive for excellence no
matter what the personal cost.
Wesley, I'm sorry I won't be able to see you grow into the exceptional
man you'll become; but your kindness and innocence are ageless.
Geordi, in those moments I felt the most despair you took my hand and
helped me to see things differently. You taught me to look beyond the
moment.
My friend, Data, you see things with the wonder of a child, and that
makes you more human than any of us.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard, I wish I could say you've been like a father
to me, but I've never had one so I don't know what it feels like. But
if there was someone in this universe I could choose to be like;
someone who I would want to make proud of me; it's you. You who have
the heart of an explorer and the soul of a poet. So, you'll
understand when I say 'Death is that state in which one exists only in
the memory of others.' Which is why it is not an end, no good-byes,
just good memories. Hailing frequencies closed, sir.

I'll bet on kirk, spock, and bones against any three of these new generation clowns. Space was still wild back then, man, they were the pioneers. These nexy generation guys are like the fake cowboy idiots you see at the mall. "Howdy partner! I reckon I'll rustle me up some housewares from target! Hoo- doggy!" <-- Translate this into space language and that's every line from that show.

I would like to put my favorite in, but I don't know who anyone is. :(
I didn't even know it was star trek until I read false alarms reply.

I love the Enterprise-D because it's the Hilton of outer space.
I can relate with it because I used to drive the Hilton of luxury cars- the Grand Marquis LS*, on loan from my parent's fleet.
Once I took down the whole Cardasian Empire with that thing... it was sweet.
With a full compliment we could support 375 crew-men complete with the dolphin-guided navigational array.
...i miss that car...

the only episode where I thought Wesley did good without being annoying was in 'Parallels', a seventh season episode where Worf enters some kind of space-time fracture and begins flipping realities every time he gets near Geordi's visor...
In the final reality before all hell really breaks loose (see the episode!), Wesley is a Lieutenant and offers a solution to the problem at hand, as noted by Data on the scene ('an excellent suggestion, Lieutenant!')
