so we're staring at some record highs in chicago today. should get up to the mid 60's, and it's sunny out! i'm going downtown to grab picnic in the park with laina for lunch today.

How was the picnic?

Yeah, yesterday was great! Little mister turned 1 year old on Monday, so this is the first time he's really been outside with the weather nice, since he became aware and could walk and crawl. Lots of fun! I dug around in my garden with a shovel, even though I didn't really need to. Also did a bunch of errands on my bike. I think I even got a little bit of a sunburn on my face!

And, I am glad I did all of that yesterday. Looks like we're back to winter today.
