Deliciousness VI on Chicago Gluttons

So I saw a review of the Deliciousness VI on one of my favorite food review sites the other day Chicago Gluttons. Did anyone from here go this year??? I can only guess hotfoot was too busy whipping up this killer menu of culinary delights:

yes, laina and i went, and it was amazing. i don't even like ceviche, but holy shit hotfoot knew how to make it tasty. likewise with pork; i normally don't care for any piece of pig except the belly, but those tenderloins were freaking amazing. the peanut sauce on them was a stroke of genius.

plus, he managed to work bacon into every other course (even the chocolate!) so of course that pleased me :>

yeah i pretty much got weepy just now just remembering that tenderloin. that chorizo killed too.

oh if only i ate pork. but i remember pork in all its glory and i am sure that meal rocked. if i had been there i might just have had to try the truffles, they sound amazing.

as a side note while we are talking food, my friend Phet is going to be on the food network tonight. i guess battling it out on a new series called chopped. he said not to laugh too much, so i wonder how it went.... i don't get that channel, so if anyone catches it let me know.
