Anybody see the West Wing debate? I thought it was fantastic. I wish Presidential debates were really like that. Also a good way to see the difference between Republicans and Democrats without the hate mongering that has become so popular.

i think you can watch the debate without seeing the season. they talk about pertinent issues too which is awesome.

i thought it was going to be really gimicky, and to be honest i was fuckin blown away. i thought it was a fantastic episode. and live.

Yes, you can definitely watch the debate without having seen any other episode this season. In fact you can watch the debate even if you have never seen a single episode of the West Wing. It is an actual live debate, there is no story, no plot, just a debate.

West Wing is not as good as it used to be. Once Aaron Sorkin left it has taken a much more serious (and depressing) tone, but still one of the best shows on television. Not sure how the election is going to work out. Rumors say that the viewers are actually going to vote on who they want to see as President. The writers apparently have two different storylines depending on who wins. Not sure if that is true, but if so, it means the viewers will totally get to decide the future of the show and all of the actors involved. Has this ever happened before?
