so my work is having another blood drive. i usually give blood, but i thought i'd post what the flobotomist [sp] said to me last time:

"Do you drink a lot? Because your blood flow is very sluggish and we usually only see that if there is a lot of alcohol in the bloodstream."

I would be more concerned about huge big friggin needles breaking off in your arm! No more needles for me!!

Needles make me freak out so much that I turn white and the nurse has to make me take deep breaths and I get a little dizzy. There's just something about having a metal spike in my arm that makes me feel really BAD and nervous and the thought of it feeling it moving around a little inside my arm makes me ill. So I never give blood. I'm a bad, selfish person.

I had to have an IV once after a car accident and I totally freaked out. They had to hold me down. It was really weird.

you don't have to worry about giving blood..

as matty said, gays aren't allowed to give blood.

i've never had much stuck in me in needle form but when I had my wisdom teeth out they gave me an iv port and shot several different things into it... i thought it was cool! ..then they let me keep my teeth! woohoo!
