man i'd happily trade in my 22-10 for a dolphins win.

actually i now care more about whether henne's a quality NFL QB than whether we win a game the rest of the year. if he ain't, the perpetual three-year project begins again.

Henne sux. I was watching that game Sunday. He looked scared. Maybe they'll get him up to date, but I doubt it.

They just brought in Thigpen from the Chiefs & he will be starting within 2 weeks.

some pretty good QBs looked pretty weak in their first real NFL action. romo threw three picks when he came into the third quarter of the game where he took over. roethlisberger passed for 108 yards. peyton manning threw three INTs and lost to the dolphins (including a pick-6 to terrell buckley a lot like henne's sunday). those are off the top of my head. i watched the romo and manning games (yes, i do distinctly remember dolphins games from 11 years ago; it's sad, i know), and they looked scared too.

i ain't saying henne's necessarily them. i'm fully prepared for henne to be as bad as AJ feeley or john beck or cleo lemon or any other piece-of-shit QB the dolphins've pinned their hopes on. i just think you're silly to send the verdict in after seeing him play for 1.5 quarters when he wasn't even the starter in practice that week.

the dolphins invested a high pick in henne, have sold him as the future franchise QB, and have groomed him as such. they'll give him more than two weeks to show something.

I've got nothing against the Phins. And Big Tuna has more football knowledge than I'll ever have, so Henne's got that going for him. But I was never impressed with Henne at Michigan & I certainly wasn't impressed by the deer-in-headlights look that I saw Sunday.

That being said, I'm nearly always wrong about these things, so he's got that going for him too.

oh OK yeah i didn't watch him in college so this is basically my first exposure. and i'll admit the resemblance to the immortal cleo lemon's short dolphins stint was uncanny, right down to the slow release, strong but inaccurate arm, and inability to read a defense. was hoping it was cuz he'd just been thrown in the fire but i am nervous.
