FYI - that is for the role playing game, that is not the action figure model - so make sure that is what he wants:
http://www.iconusa4.com/online/SW-M_AT-AT.htm
All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) at 13 inches long and 16 inches tall some gamers might not consider this figure to be "miniature" however it is built to the same scale as the standard Star Wars Miniatures. This unique standalone allows players to pit the legendary AT-AT Imperial Walker against an opponent's Rebel army. The AT-AT Imperial Walker Colossal Pack contains an AT-AT colossal miniature with stat card, a 12-page scenario booklet, a two-sided battle grid map and damage counters.
Single AT-AT figure for Star Wars Miniatures. Extra-large figure.
This is the release, and may be what you want:

Awww, thanks, guys...
I'm sure he would prefer the action figure, but I work in a comic shop, and we sell a lot of gaming stuff. (It was just too painful for me to reply to other threads about Magic cards and comics because then I would have to think about all the douchebags I deal with on a daily basis...but I digress.) We sell the Star Wars Miniatures game and on Friday, we got a case of these bad boys. Since I get a 20% discount, I figured I'd just get him the "miniature" which is actually not miniature at all. I'm too poor to buy the actual fig, which looks so awesome that I'm going to have to stop thinking about it RIGHT NOW.
I always wanted an AT-AT when I was a kid, but I already owned the Millenium Falcon and I think my parents didn't want to spoil us too much. I got a snow speeder instead.

*while making princess face*
I had the Walker AND the Falcon, as well as the Ewok village, Yoda's crib, Jabba's throne, Rebel and Empire Hoth bases, the Walker with only two legs, a "battle damaged" X-Wing (presumably from Luke's crash on Dagobah), Vader's Tie Fighter, a regular Tie Fighter, a Twin Pod Cloud Cruiser, two Speederbikes, Slave I (my favorite), a Y-Wing, the ORIGINAL Max Reebo Experience, about fifteen Ewoks, and even more stormtroopers, and all the principal characters and most of the non-principal characters, including "Snaggletooth," "Bossk," "Walrus Man," and that guy that hung out with Lando in Cloud City with the weird robot attached to his head. But my dog ate my Darth Vader when I was about eight (TRAGEDY!!!!). I had to pretend that Squidface was the new Sith Lord. I had a wicked Darth Vader case to keep the figures in. Of course they didn't all fit, so luckily I also had that dildo-shaped ship that the Rebels used when they escaped from Hoth. LOTS of characters fit in that. I traded a kid Destro for a Rancor (he was a fool!). OH! I also had the snow monster from Hoth and two Ton-Tons, and one of them had a stomach that opened up and you could stick a figure inside. Gross. My brother and I saved up coupons from cereal boxes and pooled our chore money to send away for a Death Star that came with an Emperor figure, but when the Death Star came it was the size of a basketball and made of cardboard. The Emperor was cool, but my stoopid brother took it to his mom's house and lost it. (I still think he kept it for himself--bastard.)
I think I had more Leias than anything--I had Award Celebration Leia, Hoth Leia, Bespin Leia, Endor Leia, Jabba's Slave Leia, and Bounty Hunter Disguise Leia, which was my favorite. I often incorporated the other Leias by making them evil apprentices of Squidface, but when I FINALLY got my Vader replaced, I staged a dramatic coup where Vader killed Squidface and his evil Sith bitches and resumed leadership of the Empire's military. Then the other Leias became Lando Calrissian's personal assassin squad, and one of them became Luke's girlfriend.
I had a fun childhood.
