day 72. seriously?!
what the hell, america. we can harness the power of the atom, put human feet on the moon, invent a worldwide instant porn distribution network, and yet we can't stop a leaking hole in the ground? a hole that we, in fact, drilled?
i've come to the conclusion that if we ever detect an asteroid heading towards our planet, it will be handled in a horrifyingly inept and yet hilariously disastrous manner. we'll probably spend more time on a contest to name our Doom than actually stop it.
and somehow gas prices are dropping. i guess less people are travelling to the beaches.
