that's very interesting. i really hate to think of the day that google swallows a company like amazon or ebay. i think the sky will quake.

here's my prediction: by 2020, you will have a personal AI that is your 'angel'. it will be with you everywhere you go, maybe residing in a special earpiece or some such. you can speak to it, ask it questions... it will learn what you like, what you hate, when you like to hear about new stuff... it will remember everything you've heard or said, and will be able to recall it for you instantly, perhaps even with audo and video. it could tell you if one of your friends is near by, and let you call them through it.
