Somebody needs to fire my ass! When I saw Tennessee come back in the last minute to cover the spread I knew it was going to be a long weekend.

Take the team with the number beside it (Denver -4). This means if you pick Denver to win, not only do they need to win, but they need to win by more than 4.

This is the same spread just expressed differently. If you choose KC to win, in order for you to win you take the final score and add 4 to KC's score. After you add 4 to KC's score if it is higher than Denver's final score you win.
