Ok...I know its a month away, but I figure now is the time to find out everyone's fantastic plans for the New Year, as well as make a suggestion. Seeing as I've just moved to the Northeast, and I'm not sure how long I'll be living up this way, I've decided to do the touristy New Years and travel to NYC to do the wonderful Times Square thing. Thus far, I'm alone in my venture except for the girlfriend who is probably gonna come with. I want more contestants in my New Years venture. Anyone??

right now it looks like I will leave tha MO before new year's so I can get back to my girlfriend in Minneapolis.

What are native Missourians (and assorted Columbians) doing during the week after Christmas. I am rolling in on the eve, and will be with the family through Monday, but I would like to see some of you. I don't know if fiddup has been paying attention to the board, but I know he knows how to host a party in columbia.

I don't know if the mason-dixon line extends this far west. I don't think Missouri was even a state at the time the line was established. Missouri did fight for the south in the civil war though and was a slave state thanks to the Kansas Missouri Compromise.

I have a friend that is originally from New York. She said the Time Square thing is hell. To get a good spot you have to wait in your spot all day long. Good luck peeing is all she said.
