seriously, they do. i see no major weakness.
and i kinda like their uniforms.
We all knew they had the offense.
After watching the MNF game last night, we now all know they have a defense.
They are looking pretty solid. Can they go undefeated? I know everyone here in South Florida is rooting against it, but I am rooting for it to happen. Records are made to be broken (no matter how unlikely).
Yeah, I was thinking this Indi team might be the best regular season team I have ever seen. I don't think they will go undefeated, but it is certainly possible. I have a bad feeling that all my hopes and dreams are once again going to come crashing down in Indianapolis.

wait, i just read somewhere that the 72 dolphins only had 14 games to win. so, in essence, if the colts win 15 or 16, they are better than the 72 dolphins. yup. that sounds about right.

you're talking about the best goddamned team to ever take the field you impudent fuck. they were 17-0, finished with the top ranked defense AND the top ranked offense in the entire NFL, and won the goddamned super bowl. if the colts run the table, we'll talk. until then, shut the fuck up. the '97 broncos and '85 bears made me more nervous than these bitches.

and don't forget this:
Kris: "Who put a fucking golfer on my desktop!?
Vic: "Dude, that's Don fucking Shula!"

the game is not the same as it was in the 70's so to say that they would have more games to win wouldnt matter because football has changed ...it now takes 3 hours or more to play football it didnt used to be that way ........it used to be quicker
no nancyboys played football back in the day....when did they start wearing hard helmets lol

i predict the colts will finish 16-0 and lose in the playoffs to new england. after beating denver. again.
if anybody gets them i think it will be when they go on the road to seattle. if it rains or even gets cold those dome panzies won't know what to do.
peyton manning: "Brrrr!!!"
grant wistrom: <crunch>
only one dome team has won the biggie. we all know it was the '99 rams. best offense ever!
In order for the Colts to beat Denver and lose to New England, Denver would have to be the last Wildcard team, and New England would have to be a 2 or 3 seed. Certainly this is possible, but seems more likely that if Denver were to face Indi it would be in the AFC Championship game. Where I am sure Indi will once again win.
Likely seating if things continue to go the way they are going:
1) Indi
2) Denver
3) Pitt/Cinci
4) New England
5) Pitt/Cinci
6) San Diego/Kansas City/Jacksonville
Dome teams suck.
If Indi goes undefeated regular season and playoffs and superbowl, they are the greatest team in any American sport of all time!!!!!! No other league is designed for parity like the NFL.

have any NFC predictions?
I guess you gotta go with the Bears. I honestly have not seen a Bear game all year, but you can't argue with the record. I am excited to see their Defense in action. Of the NFC teams I have seen (which is to say NFC teams who played the Broncos) I think the Giants are the best, but not sure a rookie (actually I think this is Manning's 2nd year, but his first as a starter) QB has what it takes. I think Marino was the last rooking QB to go to the SuperBowl.
I just pray to God that there are no wardrobe malfunctions while the Stones are playing.

i'd say the seahawks look like the most complete team in the NFC right now, despite their loss to a good giants team last week. bears are probably still a year away, though stranger things have happened. like the goddamned dolphins coughing it up 6 times and letting the patriots upset them in '85 and ruining that super bowl.
i know, i live in the past. you would too if you rooted for the dolphins.

Actually, the Seahawks beat the NYG last week. NY had 3 missed field goal attempts before Seattle closed them out in overtime.
But, being from the old school AFC West, I know that the Seahawks are a bunch of chokers.

yeah, i guess i left when the giants were driving and i assumed they'd win. was still drunk on the dolphin win at that point.
No problem, FA. The Giants should have won. They missed 3 straight field goals. I had never seen anything like it.
Definitely one of the biggest choking incidents that I have seen recently.

Yeah, people down here keep talking about "Hey, it's not over, we can still win the division, we're gonna win five straight, etc."
I guess it's 'technically' possible, but highly improbable. The fins should be playing for a decent draft pick & grab a QB.

my nfc super bowl pick was carolina from the get go.
i'm sticking with them. i think they will beat chicago or nyg with thier young qbs.
i am a chiefs fan from way back. i've watched seahawks games all my life cuz they used to be in our division. we hear this shit about how the seahawks(peacocks) are going to the super bowl every year. every year. let me assure you. the peacocks will choke. there is a zero % chance of the peacocks making the super bowl.
indy is a dome team so i'll believe it when i see it.
just a reminder: slam picked indy to win the afc. slam the nfl guru?
007 : 12-4
JVO : 11-5
Duck : 9-7
BB : 8-8
Poof : 6-10
Unanimous : 1-0

maybe, but i never root for my team to lose. draft's such a crapshoot--see bengals, cincinatti (1990-2004)--that i root for the win no matter what. plus so much is dependent on which juniors declare. plus the dolphins have a lot more holes than just QB. you get the picture.
i think i almost got jumped at the bar by some dude with money on the bills this past sunday. partnership for a buffalo bills-free america, mofos!
