New Computer

Hey for those of you who know James and carry from COMO they are looking to buy a new computer and I am helping them. I think we have found the best deal to be a Dell for about $600 they can get a 250gb HD a 17' flat screen and all the rest of the shit but the one thing they cant afford is the soft where.... this is where I am hoping someone can help. They need PowerPoint and what not. My guess is a version of Office. Can anyone get one for them???? Also if anyone knows a better deal than Dell let me know. Thanks everyone.

yup...i have full copies of those items...do they want Office XP? Office 2000? or Office 97?? Jokes jokes...even tho i do have them all, i'll hook up Office XP if they need it. Any other software necessities??

i think dell is absolutely the way to go. i wouldn't even consider any other brand.

i've recommended it to many friends and family, and none have been disappointed. the support is top-notch.

make sure you have at least a gig of memory, and you should be set.

I can also get various software through Florida International University for about $5.00. Depending on what it is... I think anti virus stuff, microsoft office etc. Just let me know and I can check to see what is available to me.
