Sluggish snail net

My internet has slowed to a nice creep. Wondering if maybe it's some sort of spyware that I stumbled upon that is weighing me down.

What's the latest spyware finder, catcher, elminator? I've got adaware from Lavasoft, and am currently running.

What do the tech geeks recommend?

I don't know what the nerds recommend, but spybot seems to be a decent program.

get the microsoft antispyware. it's really quite good.

also, have you tried rebooting your cable/dsl modem?

Ran Adaware and Spybot. No improvements.

Already had tried to reboot the cable modem.

I'll go and find the microsoft anitispyware next.

Any other suggestions?

Downloaded Msft Antispyware. Did not find anything (Spybot had found 40-some items, which i elected to fix).

Did a couple of internet speed connection pages and everything seems to be ok there (800kbps). Just can't view a webpage quickly. Also can't play world of warcraft.

Very odd.
