whew!

good thing we had our tackles back.
in denver both of the offensive tackles were hurt.
one of them pro bowler

the snake finally played like jake. he had been throwing to the broncs until sunday. i knew he would eventually come back to earth and throw some picks.

dj got this great sack. the snake showed real toughness to get up from that one.

i cant believe kc turned it over 3 times and we still beat a team that good.

larry johnson is a stud horse.

its about time we got a big play from dante.

the broncs still look like a more balanced team than kc. i still think they will win the west. kc has the toughest schedule left.

a very exciting game with lots of big plays. lots of ugly mistakes on both sides.
it was the cherry on top of a perfect sunday!

i know what you are gonna say.

the broncos were short on fourth down. short.

i didn't know they could review such a thing, but denver didn't make it.

our guys had him in the backfield. he was short.

No question he was short and I didn't have a problem with the replay. I do have a problem with the stupid, chickshit, lameass helmet to helmet contact bullshit. When Lynch lowered his head the WR's was standing upright. The WR lower his head, and that is the only reason why the helmets collided. Now I don't think that had anything to do with the final result, I just hate that stupid penalty.

The key to beating the Broncos is get them in 3rd and long. Broncos convert in 3rd and 5 and over less than 20% of time.

Jake did throw 2 bad picks, but I think he really had a pretty good game. Trent Green threw 2 picks also.

The main thing I learned is that Denver and KC still have absolutely shitty Defenses. KC could not stop the run or the pass, Denver could stop one thing (1st half the run, 2nd half the pass) but were completely helpless at stopping the other. Nobody is stopping Indi!

Although that 4th down call was the correct one, I couldn't believe that they reversed it. That was the whole game decided by the refs. They took the ball from Den & gave it to KC. Since it was 4th down I was shocked that it was overturned. Obviously, I'm on the Chiefs side but I'm not sure how I feel about the refs just handing the game to the Chiefs.

On a similar topic, the Rams have much less D than KC or Den. They allowed 2 - 100 yard rushers yesterday. What I wouldn't give for even a middle of the pack defense.

jvo is right. the penalty on lynch was a bullshit call. but he made it even worse on himself by arguing. no official ever changed his call because the offender bitched about the call.

rams are in the tank. i personnally believe they are cursed by the football dieties. they mistreated kurt warner and karma is punishing them. warner is a top 5 passer right now and stl is stuck playing harvard guy. also, removing faulk from the starting lineup was a slap in his face. faulk has shown that he is a class act by accepting a backup role on his way to canton. you dont here him in the media complaining about not getting enough carries. very classy individual. the person they should dump is martz but i bet he comes back next year.
the rams d is not as bad as thier stats. they are always on the field because of the injury to fatty. i think they have been overexposed. they have talent like archuleta, coakly, pinosomoa (sp.), little. i think thier defensive coordinator is just not as good as lovie. ask a bears fan how good lovie is.

ask a bears fan how good lovie is.

I know.
Losing Lovie was the worst hit the Rams have taken since winning the SB.

Also, the D would be all right except they can't tackle. There is always someone on the ball, he just always misses his tackle.

Yeah my boss has season tickets to the Rams games and he said that the entire vibe at the games have changed. He said that all around him everyone was commenting about how this was an end of an era.

I think DP is right, the Rams have done too many things to piss off the football gods and now they are being punished. Still even if this the end, they had a fantastic run.

I do think Martz is done. I would be very surprised if he ever coaches for the Rams again. He wants to Coach again this season, but the team won't let him. If they won't let him come back this year, he is done as a Ram. As far as I am concerned, I am glad Martz is leaving, but he has had a lot of success.
