Holy crap it sucks outside today... it's like 2 degrees. This morning I waited for almost an hour at the the freezing cold bus stop only to arrive super late to work and find out there is no power here... everyone is going home. So, that was pretty pointless. :(

Some mornings it's best to just stay in bed.

next time, you should just find the fattest person at the bus stop with you, disembowel them with a pen knife, and crawl inside their steaming carcass for warmth.

the smell is, supposedly, not very good, but it should buy you at least an hour's worth of warmth.

oh my god.

I just got home from work... I was on the bus and it took 45 mintues to go 2 blocks. So I decided screw this and got off to make the long trecherous walk home... only took about an 2 hours in the blizzard... erf. :(

There has to be around 6 inches already... I think I'll stay in tonight and drink mojitos. heh. mojitos.

this is the best night to go out and wrap yourself in a cacoon of beer and warmth. in fact, the first snow storm is my favorite night to go out every year.

i think i spent roughly four hours in the car last night, battling the chicago streets, parallel parking multiple times in snow drifts, having my car plowed in repeatedly....

but i got to chill at a hookah bar for a couple of hours, so that was nice.

i think we had a peach/jasmine combo. quite tasty. we have pics; perhaps i shall post them.

it's a pretty sweet spot. good music, tasty food, nice little curtained off areas where you can sit on a bunch of pillows, good drinks, kind bartenders (read: free shots!)... and shit, it's only like three blocks from our house larryhead.

we should consider becoming regulars! and weekends, they have belly dancers!
