1. ncaa teams now have two 3 pt lines on thier courts. has the men's line been moved back and the inner line is for ladies?



2. nhl now has a shootout system to break ties, yet a teams record still appears with 3 numerals. as in 9-8-7. so do teams still get a tie if they enter a shootout? is it like the old system, under which, an overtime loss still earned the team 1 point, for a tie?

Yeah the point system is the same as last year. 2 points for a win and 1 point for a shootout or overtime loss.

If the game comes down to penalty shots, both teams are awarded a tie, but the team who wins the shootout get 2 points instead of 1.

I think that both the men and women are now using the international three point line. It is probably slightly different for men vs. women which would explain the two lines. Not sure though, it could be a high school 3 point line also.
