I dont care how much everyone rips on MS (not the disease). Until any free alternative becomes mainstream usable outside a select set of 5%ers (maybe 10%ers), there will never be the conquering of Rome. PERIOD. The free alternatives need to realize that sub-delegating desktop platforms so this one does better graphic rendering, or this one parses some file system better is pointless, and is only done for prestige of the core developers, not for the good of the masses. Script kiddies with CVS projects on sourceforge.!!!!

Why do you think server side usage of alternatives is so much more pentratated that desktop usage? But who is the bigger consumer?
