With this being Day 4 of no smokey smokey for me, I was hit with an enormous craving following lunch today... shakes, chills, uncontrollable urge to beat someone down... I was about to punch my monitor, at which point I decided to cave in and buy Nicorette gum (2mg) for $50.

It's pretty weird and gets a really peppery taste. You chew it and then park it in your gums:

Anyways, craving is gone.. for now. :) Anyone ever try this stuff.. it's weird.

What does nicotine "taste" like? Does the gum taste like a cigarette? Funny, I was just thinking about sending a check to Jon's Pipe Shop.. I owe them a few bucks and wanted some, well, nevermind.

The nicotine in the gum tastes like pepper, when you get that taste your supposed to "park" it against your gums until it goes away, them repeat.

You can get the generic nicotinell on e-bay. Much more cheaper than the shit at walgreens. I've been chewin this stuff for about a year and a half, it hasn't been good for my wallet but its much better than cancer in 20 years. I ought to just quit cold turkey, but life is hectic and I haven't found a good time to just stop.
