I got a 28.
Stupid Eisenhower, I thought he was born in Kansas.
Guess my parents money for college wasn't entirely a waste.
SQ: Stripes represent 13 original colonies, also the number of pillars in front of the White House. Lincoln Memorial has 28 to represent the 28 states that were in the union during the civil war.

Thanks, I knew you would probably do good on that quiz.

what does the Stove-pipe Hat represent?
The stove pipe hat gained it's name because it is a hat style that was unique to the U.S. The inventor (a Cincinnati based hat company named Wilson/Pinchot) wanted to celebrate the uniqueness of the hat (and our country) by combinning two purely American concepts. The "Stove" part is a tip of the hat (no pun intended) to Ben Franklin and his American Franklin Stove. The "Pipe" part of the name is a way to celebrate the Native tribes who lived here before us. The Wilson/Pinchot company knew that by combining these two American legends it would be a way to show the European hat makers that America has a unique history completely independant from Europe. Since our history was unique, it only makes sense that our sense of style would be unique, therefore American designed clothing was to become a booming industry.
