Random Observations:

Washington V. Seattle:

How on Earth did Washington ever make it to the playoffs?

The First Half of this game was one of the most boring things I have ever seen. I really have to give it up to Seattle though, after they lost Alexander I thought they would pack it in like they normally do. Hasselback might be the most under-rated QB in the league. I never thought I would say this, but I think the Seahawks are bound for the SuperBowl.

New England v. Denver

HE HE HE!!!!!! Nobody had any faith in the Broncos. The national media was two busy jackin off to Tom Brady. There are good football teams outside of New England bitches!!!!! True the Broncos got a lot of brakes, but they still proved to be the dominate team. Baily's interception was one of the most emotional 5 seconds of my life. From fear, to joy, to anger, to joy again. I certainly hope he learned a lesson, and will hustle all the way next time. Because of John Elway, I don't think that Shanahan gets nearly enough credit for being a great coach. No other coach in the league could have done a better job with Jake the Snake. No other team would have traded one of the best RB's in the league (Portis) without having any negative impact at all. Coach S. is the GM also and when you look at the additions of Gold, Baily, Lynch and the entire D line (except Pryce) Shanahan deserves credit for not only being one of the best coaches in the league, but also for one of the best GM's. If the Chiefs had made the same additions on Defense that the Broncos did, they would be fighting for their second SuperBowl in a row this year.

Pittsburg v. Indianapolis.

Peyton Manning is a soft, loser, bitch!!!!! Obviously he is one of the best pure passers in the history of the NFL. He is also very intellegent and probably is a good leader, but if you put any pressure on him at all, he turns into a sniveling girl. Manning would rather throw the ball away than to get hit and complete the pass. That may work in the regular season, but in the playoffs you have to take the hits. The Broncos hit Brady all day, and every time he hung in the pocket and tried to complete the pass, but Manning, when pressured, hops around like child and ditches the ball as soon as possible. And then to hear him blame the O - line after the game, I just wanted to punch him in the face. He is the one who calls the plays, and calls the Offensive blocking patterns with that obnoxious jabbering before every play. Why didn't he make the adjustment? Besides when the D is rushing 7 guys and you only have 6 blockers, no offense line in the history of football could protect the passer. In his jabbering, why did he not think to call a run play? Or a screen? Instead he just kept doing the same thing over and over with the exact same result. Peyton the reason why you always lose in the playoffs is because you are soft!!!!!!!

Also Tony Dungee is the most overrated coach in all of sports. Indi was just as successful before he got there as they are now. He was brought in to make their Defense as good as their Offense and in 4 years, he still is no where close. And all he did in Tampa was lose in the playoffs every year too. As soon as he left, Gruden took them to a SuperBowl victory. I think the reason why Dungee is such a complete failure in the playoffs is because he is never the authority figure on the team. When he waved the punting team on at the end of the third quarter and Softon Manning waved them back it became clear to me; Dungee is not the decision maker on that team. Could you picture Belcheck or Parcels idly standing by as a player vetos one of his decisions? They would have benched them immediately. A team of 48 gladiators needs to have a solid rock to lead them or they will blow themselves up. Dungee is more of the soft spunge variety.

Carolina v. Chicago

The Chicago defense ensured that they were going to lose by running their traps all week long. Shut up and play. Instead you gave up 20+ points to a mediocre offense who was missing their starting RB and let Steve Smith single handedly destroy you. Really how many receptions can one guy make before your defense makes an adjustment? All Tillman ever did was fall, interfere, or get dusted. I could have done that! Still Chicago had a great year and never stopped fighting. I don't know if Sexy Rexy is the answer, but he does have a lot of heart. If Soften had the heart of Rexy they would have won 3 SuperBowls by now. John Fox is a fantastic coach, and Jake Delhome is a fantastic QB. Carolina @ Seattle ought to be a great game.

Next Sunday, is the best day of football of the year. I can hardly wait.

as a bears fan, watching that game on sunday, especially after hearing the defense talk shit ALL WEEK, was disgusting. i'm not disappointed at the loss...i'm disappointed at the way our defense played.

i fucking loved the offense though. we're going to hopefully kick some tires next year. i just wish the nfc north wasn't the doormat of the rest of the league.

redskins at seahawks: i thought joe gibbs was gonna win. he has a great playoff record. the skins were only in this game because teams like philly and dallas choked on it.

pittsburgh at indy: jvo is right. manning is a little bitch. i saw sean salisbury on sportscenter breaking it down. and on those last two drives manning threw it away early instead of hitting the open rb in the flat. he just broke under pressure. pressure which he created himself by not putting up points early with his big time offense.
dungy is soft too. you cant argue with results. and his playoff results are losses.
dome teams are just soft. only one dome team ever won the super bowl.

GO RAMS !!!

indy even got another chance when the white hat over turned polamalu's interception. and another extra chance when the bus fumbled. the drunk cant kick straight. its not my fault he missed it.

also ben roethlisberger saved the game with a tackle. a qb gets the game saving tackle? this guy is my new favorite player outside of the state of missouri. (used to be brett favre).

new england at denver: i knew denver would win. the p-men were not as good this year and i know how tough it is to go up to mile high and win.
i thought it was hilarious when chump bailey got nailed for not hustling. that's what you get.
i cant believe the p-men turned it over so much.

carolina at chicago: what a rotten break for the panthers. 2 rbs down. i think they would win the big one if not for foster's ankle.
urlacher could be the best lb in the nfl.
steve smith is the mvp.
delhomme is the best qb left playing.
lovie smith is great. i wish he would coach the rams. the bears will get alot better if they get a qb. both of thier guys are clowns.

next sunday:

pittsburgh @ denver --- denver
carolina @ seattle --- carolina
