I'm probably the only one that hasn't read this yet, so I borrowed it from krisko when we went to visit in Madison.
it fucking rules. i started reading it yesterday and could not put it down. i was up until like 3am reading. 280 pages in one day? that's a lot even for me (normally a fast reader).
if you haven't read this yet, i would suggest getting it, or at least borrowing it from someone (i'm sure at least one person you know owns this book already).
WC: I felt the exact same way!!!!!!!! About six months ago and after seeing a million shows about it, I finally decided to read it, and I was completely blown away. It is one of the very few books that I read straight through. I was a little disappointed with the end, but I still thought it was fantastic. Have you read any of his other books? I think one is called Angels and Demons. I read it immediately after DaVinci code, and it is really good also. I think LarryHead was talking about reading it also.
I am really excited to see the movie, although it will probably end up just pissing me off. I hate seeing movies that are based on books that I have already read.

W/C, that is so weird you started this thread... I just finished Angels and Demons and was gonna say I liked it better than the Da Vinci Code. Really, they are like the same story though (Religious Symbologist goes on crazy quest across the globe with hot brainy chick to uncover clues left by a mysterious ancient cult before it's TOO LATE.). :)
I also read Deception Point awhile back, but it wasn't as good as those other two.
