Ever see the show Declassified?

The government has been monitoring every peace protest since Hoover took over the FBI. If you take part in any protest of the government, the FBI knows about it and more than likely has pictures. Since we have been doing this for the last 50 years, I think it is funny that it surprises people. I suspect that within 10 years, every single public action of every single American will be videotaped and on file somewhere in the FBI/CIA. I guess this has already been happening in England. Scotland Yard has video from strategically placed cameras constantly recording thoughout the country. I don't know that any of this info could be used against you in court, but it could probably aid in getting warrants. The only way we are going to stop this is to pass some sort of Constitutional Amendment which protects individual privacy. The way the privacy clause (which doesn't actually exist) is interpreted now, I don't think it offers any protection. Goes back to the security v. liberty question. I just think that at this point in our evolution as a country, we are much more concerned with our security than our liberty. Like where is the outrage about the spying scandals? I am not sure a majority of the country cares.
